ingbeuteln,  Koffern  und  57  Insassen  nebst  Fahrer  vor  dem  müh-
sterschen  Schlaungymnasium,  und  abends  um  18.30  Uhr  hielt  der
selbe  Bus  vor  dem  Lyc6e  Pothier 
In  14  Stunden  war
die  lange  Reise,  die  über  Holland,  Belgien  bis  Tief  hinein  in
d a s  F r a n k e n l a n d 
f ü h r t e ,  o h n e  g r o ß e  S c h w i e r i g k e i t e n  g e s c h a ff t .
Und  dann  kletterten  wir  nach  so 
,
i n t e r e s s a n t e r  F a h r t  a u s  d e m  B u s ;  w i r  d . h .  d i e  4 4  S ä n g e r k n a b e n
des  Schlaungymnasiums,  die  10  älteren^Chormitglieder,  und  der
gestrenge  Begleitschütz,  Herr  Dr.Allerup  und  »eine  Gattin,  so
w i e  H e r r  S c h w e r b r o c k  a l s  D o l m e t s c h e r .
Wir  waren  nach  Orleans  gereist,  um  zu  zeigen,  daß  nicht  nur
in  Frankreich  gern  gesungen  wird.  In  der  vorhergegangenen  Wo
in  Mün
che  war  der  Chor  des 
ster  gewesen.  Die  Stadt  Orleans  hatte  uns  zu  einem  Gegenbesuch
eingeladen,  imd  zwar  vom  7*  -  11«Mai.  Am  B.Mai  findet  in  der
m ü n s t e r s c h e n  P a t e n s t a d t  d a s  b e r ü h m t e  J e a n n e  d * A r e - F e s t  s t a t t ,
das  alljährlich  mit  viel  Prunk  und  Aufwand  begangen  wird.  An
l ä ß l i c h  d i e s e r  F e i e r n  g a b  e s 
i n  d e r
Kathedrale,  singen  im  Rathaus,  singen  beim  Festessen  in  Chever
ny,  außerdem  Besuche  in  den  französischen  Familien,  Besichti  -
gungen  von  Schlössern,  Kirchen  und  anderen  Bauwerken  —  jeder
T a g  w a r  a u s g e f ü l l t .
i n  d i e s e n
Tagen  auf  uns  einströmten,  so  könnte  ich  eine  Sonderausgabe  un
f ü l l e n .  O r l e a n s ,  d i e  S c h l ö s s e r  v o n
s e r e r  S c h ü l e r z e i t u n g  d a m i t 
Blois  und  Cheverny,  Reims  mit  seiner  gotischen  Kathedrale,  das
unvergleichlich  schöne  Schloß  Chambord  mit  seiner  herrlichen,-
ja  einmaligen  Fassade:  jede  Station  der  Reise  ist  mit  vielen
Erinnerungen  verbunden.  Manche  der  jüngeren  Sänger  waren  gera
dezu  versessen  auf  greifbare  Andenken,  kurz  Souvenirs  genannt.
U n d  d a n n  P a r i s :  H ö h e p u n k t  d i e s e r  g r o ß a r t i g e n  F a h r t !  E i ff e l
turm,  Are  de  Triomphe,  Notre  Dame: 
jeder  hatte  schon  davon  ge
hört,  doch  nur  wenige  hatten  zuvor  das  gesehen,  was  nun  alle
a u f  d i e s e r  P a r i s r u n d f a h r t  k e n n e n l e r n t e n .
Ja,  und  eines  Abends  stand  unser  Autobus,  vollbeladen  mit
Campingbeuteln,  Koffern  und  57  Insassen  nebst  Fahrer  wieder  in
Münster  vor  dem  Schlaungymnasium.  Wir  hatten  die  bisher  schön
ste,  längste  und  auch  erfolgreichste  Chorfahrt  hinter  uns.  Als
u n s  d e r  B u s f a h r e r  m i t t e i l t e ,  s e i n  K o l l e g e 
f a h r e  a m  n ä c h s t e n  Ta
ge  wieder  nach  Orleans  -mit  demselben  Bus-,  wollten  einige  von
uns  gleich 
Dem  genauen  Beobachter  dieser  Ankunftsszene  dürfte  eines  b£
sonders  aufgefallen  sein:  Nachdem  das  Gepäck  ausgeladen  und  so
m i t  d i e  F a h r t  b z w .  d i e  P f l i c h t e n  v o r ü b e r  w a r e n ,  k o n n t e  m a n  e i
ne  mehrköpfige  Delegation  älterer  Sänger  eilig  einem  lockenden
Z i e l  a n  d e r  E c k e  z u s t r e b e n  s e h e n .  W o r a u s  d e r  s c h l a u e  B e o b a c h
ter  folgerte:  Frankreich  ist  ja  schön,  aber  in  Deutschland  ist
d a s  B i e r  b e s s e r .  B u s f a h r e n  m a c h t  e b e n  d u r s t i g

i c h  a l l  d i e  E i n d r ü c k e  s c h i l d e r n  w o l l t e ,  d i e 

im  Wagen  bleiben.

Als  Chronik  bezeichnet  man  eine  Audzeichnung  geschichtlicher
E r e i g n i s s e .  D i e  h i e r  a u f g e f ü h r t e n  P u n k t e  g e h e n  z w a r  n i c h t 
i n
die  Geschichte  selbst  ein,  jedoch  könnte  man  sie  als  "Schulge
s c h i c h t e 
Zunächst  wäre  da  die  im  März  1964  erschienene  Erstausgabe  un
serer  Schülerzeitung  WIR  VOM  SCHLAUN  zu  erwähnen.  Sine  "neugi^
: p o s i t i v e -  B e w e r t u n g  d e r  Z e i t u n g  w a r
r i g e " - o d e r s o l l 
in  der  ersten  großen  Pause  nach  der
schon  darin  zu  sehen,  daß 
Verteilung  alle  WIR  VOM  SCHLAUE  studierten,  anstatt  der  sonst
ü b l i c h e n  P a u s e l e k t ü r e 
f r a n z ö  -
s i s c h e r  V o k a b e l n  o d e r  G r a m a t i k p a r a g r a p h e n .
E b e n s o  p o s i t i v  a u f g e n o m m e n  w u r d e  d i e  P h o t o -  u n d  B r i e f m a r k e n
ausstellung.  Die  beiden  Arbeitsgruppen  lösten  damit  ihr  Veig)r£
jedoch  blieben  die
chen  aus  der

ihren  zweiten  Film  vor.  Daß  besonders  großes 
Interesse  bestand
trotz
beweist  schon  die  Tatsache,  daß  mancher  Jüngling  meinte, 
d e r  M a h n u n g  " F r e i  a b  1 6 "  d i e  A u l a  d u r c h  s e i n e  A n w e s e n h e i t  b e e h
r e n  z u  m ü s s e n ,  o b w o h l  e r  d i e  1 6  e r s t  a n s t r e b t e .
man  aus  gesundheitlichen  Gründen:  die  Schluckimpfung.Nach  der
" B e h a n d l u n g "  s a h  m a n  d i e  n o c h  e t w a s  b l e i c h e n  P a t i e n t e n  - 
t r o t z

l a s s e n .  ( D e r g r ö ß t e  E r f o l g  s e i t  J a h r e n . . . )
Die  anschließenden  Osterferien  mit  den  dazugehörigen  Neben
e r s c h e i n u n g e n  w i e  z . B .  d i e  s o  a u ß e r o r d e n t l i c h  g e l i e b t e n  " B e  -
weise  der  Faulneit"  (kurz  "Jammerlappen"  genannt)  verbrachten
die  meisten  beim  Eiersuchen.  Danach  wurde  die  gesamte  SMV  auf
den  Kopf  gestellt.  Walter  Frickes  glorreiche  Regierungszeit^die
ein  Jahr  gedauert  hatte,  ging  zu  Ende.  Nach  der  Wahl  von  Tho
m a s  A b e l e r  z u  s e i n e m  N a c h f o l g e r  d u r f t e  e r  s i c h  n u n  " A l t s c h u l  -
S p r e c h e r "  n e n n e n .  N u n ,  o h  V / a l t e r , 
ihre  Ar
beit  damit,  daß  sie  einen  neuen  Chefredakteur  wählten,  der  sih
K l a u s  H i l g e m a n n  n e n n e t .
Für  den  ersten  Mai  hatte  die  Oberstufe  einen  Ausflug  nach'
Billerbeck  geplant.  Nachdem  man  anfangs  durch  die  Baumberge  ge
schwömmen  war,(  wäre  die  SMV  clever  gewesen,  hätte  sie  Regen
schirme  zum  verkauf  angeboten),  wurde  abends  noch  ordentlich
g e s c h w o f t .

Am  nächsten  Tag,  dem  13.5.  hielt  ein  Student  einen  Vortrag

i n t e r n a t i o n a l e n  J u g e n d g e m e i n s c h a f t s d i e n s t e . E i n i g e  w a
in  KarnevalsStimmung,  sodaß  sich  der  Vortragendenur
ren  dabei

f e i e r t e  H e r r  H a r t m a n n  s e i n  2 5 - j ä h r i g e s  B e r u f s j u b i

r e n .Am  29.5.  gewannen  die  STAE  STREET  STOMPERS  einen  Jazzwett
